Count your moles to gauge your risk of skin cancer. For hard to see areas like your back, ask someone to count the moles for you. If you have six or more large moles, 5 millimeters or larger (about one-fifth of an inch, the size of a pencil eraser), you're at risk. You should check your skin frequently and have a professional exam.
