Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC)
The Walter Reed National Military Medical Center is an integrated tri-service two-campus military medicine system, a unique combination of the flagship of navy medicine, the premier army medicine and the air force medicine. WRNMMC North Campus in Bethesda, Maryland is a tertiary care, university affiliated teaching hospital and referral facility. We are located directly across the street the National Institute of Health (NIH) and the National Library of Medicine. WRNMMC will provide a world-class medical care for our wounded warriors, retired military personnel and their dependents, as well as active duty military personnel and their independents. Challenges for treating these patients encompass most medical specialties: traumatic brain injuries, trauma surgery, rehabilitation, medical and geriatric population, and pediatric and neonatal care. These provide great opportunities for training and learning.
