Cardiac health is the “heart” of the dedicated, expert and compassionate cardiologists and staff. Force readiness as well as your and your family’s quality of life depends on restoring your heart health.

Your cardiologist will consider a full range of diagnostic, surgical and therapeutic programs to help determine the right course for you.

  • Arrhythmias, irregular rhythmic beating
  • Atherosclerosis
  • Cardiomyopathy
  • Congestive heart failure
  • Coronary artery disease
  • Enlarged heart
  • Heart murmurs
  • High blood pressure
  • Hypertension
  • Myocardial infarction (heart attack)
  • Pericarditis
  • Rheumatic heart disease/rheumatic fever
Diagnostic Tools:

  • Non-Invasive Tests to provide information about heart valves, heart muscle, coronary arteries, as well as possible congenital heart abnormalities.
    • Echocardiography
    • Exercise stress test
    • Exercise echocardiograms

  • Cardiac Catheterization

    A routine, same-day procedure to detect or rule out heart disease. Indications for the procedure include such events as chest pain, abnormal treadmill stress test, heart attack (myocardial infarction), and heart defects. Cardiac catheterization may reveal a healthy heart or the need for corrective measures such as clot thinning, surgical dilation of blood vessel with a balloon or stent (angioplasty), or coronary bypass surgery.
