The Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) is a proud leader in business recycling. We work hand-in-hand with Montgomery County, Maryland, our local jurisdiction that has vision, responsibility, and sets high standards for best business recycling practices. We are committed to reducing solid waste by 50% in accordance with the 2005 ExecutiveRegulation 15-04.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!

Just plain good sense. It saves precious resources, money, creates economic opportunities, saves land, and reduces air pollution. It adds up to a healthy family, community, and planet.

How can I help?

Recycling is mandatory. When you are on our campus,
look for recycling containers.

What:

• Cans – all metal, food, beverage cans.
• Aluminum – foil, cans, tins, etc.
• Plastic – only bottles with necks. Discard lids! No other plastic please.
• Glass – all food and beverage jars and bottles. Discard lids! Please rinse.
• Paper – office, newspapers, magazines, books, boxes.

Divided container.	Co-mingle container.	All paper.
